In web2school you will see an active check box on many windows. When you add something that could be marked active, it usually defaults to being active. Data items that can be marked active/inactive include students, personnel, courses and users. Data marked active appears in lists and on reports. Data that is not marked active is ignored for most reports and lists.
We recommend marking data inactive, rather than deleting it.
