Export Grades To Report Cards

This option allows you to select specific grade books and move grades to student report cards. Based on the term selected the program moves grades and comments as needed.

The Terms Taught field is used by the program to determine when to move final and semester grades. For example, if you ask the program to send grades to the report card for Term 2, it checks Terms Taught to see when the course finishes.

If the course ends Term 2 the program sends grades for Term 1, Term 2, Semester 1 Average, Final Grade and any exams that have grades.

If the course ends Term 4 the program sends grades for Term 1, Term 2, Semester 1 Average and any exams that have grades, but does not send Final Grade or Semester 2 Average.

Note: It is recommended that after sending grades to report cards you print Teacher Verification Reports and ask teachers to verify that the grades imported correctly.

Steps

1. Click on the Tools Menu and select Global.
2. Click on the Global Menu and select Grade Book.
3. From the Grade Book Menu select Export To Report Card.
4. Click in the Last Completed Term and select the Term associated with the grades being sent to report cards. For example, if you select Term 2, all grades through Term 2 including Semester 1 average and mid-term exam will be sent to report cards. In addition, if a class has finished, final grades will be sent for only that class.
5. Click on the teacher(s) whose grades you wish to send to report cards.
6. Click OK to begin exporting grades.
