Update Grade Book Rosters
This option allows you to update existing grade books with new
information from scheduling. Typically this would be used if a new
course has been added to the master schedule and needs to be added to
the appropriate grade book also. This tool will add new courses and
students to existing grade books.
Note: This tool does not remove students from grade books. Students
who have been removed from a class roster in scheduling must be
removed manually from the appropriate grade book.
- Click on the Tools Menu and
select Global.
- Click on the Global Menu and
select Grade Book.
- From the Grade Book Menu
select Update Rosters.
- In the Search By section you
must search for the teachers for whom you will be updating grade books.
- If you search by Name, you
can leave the Value field
blank and click Get List to
get all teachers or you can type a last name and click Get
List to display all teachers with that last name.
- If you search by ID, type
the appropriate teacher ID
in the Value field and click Get
List.
- In the window displayed, check off the teachers whose grade books
need to be updated (Course Info and/or Student Info).
- Click OK to begin updating.
