Add An Objective

  1. Click on the Setup Menu and select Standards.

  2. From the Standards Menu select Objective Information.

  3. The Objective Information window is displayed. Click in the Select Organization field and choose the Organization within which you are working.

  4. Click in the Subject Area field and choose the appropriate Subject Area.

  5. Click in the SubGroup field and choose the appropriate SubGroup.

  6. Click in the Benchmark field and choose the appropriate Benchmark.

  7. Click on the Add button to display the Add window.

  8. Click in the Grade Level field and select the appropriate grade level for this Objective.

  9. Click in the ID field and assign an ID number to this Objective.

  10. Click in the Description field and type a detailed description of the Objective.

  11. Click in the Value field and enter the highest score that can be received for meeting this Objective. In many states the value of an Objective is a 4 and students can receive a 1, 2, 3 or 4 as a score.

  12. Click OK to save.
