Add Properties - Setup

Properties allow you to group other disciplinary information. For example, you may want to group your list of infractions for easier reporting. Infractions could be grouped under Properties such as, bullying, property damage, assault, insubordination.

Steps

1. Click on the Setup Menu and select Discipline.
2. The program displays the Discipline Information window.
3. Click on the Properties Tab to select it.
4. Click on the Add button to display the Add Property window.
5. Click on the Description field and type the name of the Property (i.e. Assault or Property Damage).
6. Click in the Association field and select the kind of data to which this property should be linked. Options include Infraction, Action Taken, Weapon and Suspension/Detention. If you need this property for more than one kind of data you must add the property multiple times.
7. Click OK to save and display the new item on the Discipline Information window.
