Day Types

Add A Day Type
  1. Click on the Setup Menu and select Calendar.
  2. The Configure Calendars screen is displayed. Click on the Day Config button to display the Day Config window. Note: Full Day, Half Day, and Not In Session cannot be modified.
  3. Click the Add button to display the Add Day Config window.
  4. Click in the Name field and type the name of the new day type.
  5. In the Day Value section, click the button beside the value to assign to this type of day.
  6. To assign a label, click the button for Label, and enter a two-letter label that represents the day type. For example, a snow day may be SD. Click OK to return to the Day Config window. Click OK again to return to the Configure Calendars window.
  7. To assign an icon, click the button for Icon, and click in the Select Icon field. Select from the available list of icons. Click OK to return to the Day Config window...
 Modify A Day Type
  1. Click on the Setup Menu and select Calendar.
  2. The Configure Calendars screen is displayed. Click on the Day Config button to display the Day Config window. Note: Full Day, Half Day, and Not In Session cannot be modified.
  3. Click on the day type you wish to modify, then click the Modify button to display the Modify Day Config window.
  4. Modify the configuration for that day as appropriate.
  5. Click OK to return to the Day Config window. Click OK again to return to the Configure Calendars window.
Delete A Day Type
  1. Click on the Setup Menu and select Calendar.
  2. The Configure Calendars screen is displayed. Click on the Day Config button to display the Day Config window. Note: Day types that are currently used in a calendar cannot be deleted.
  3. Click on the day type you wish to delete, then click the Delete button. Note: if the Delete button is grayed, the day is in use in a calendar. Remove it from the calendar, then try the Delete again. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete.
  4. Click OK to return to the Day Config window. Click OK again to return to the Configure Calendars window.
