- Click on the Management Menu
and select Data Management.
- From the Data Management Menu
select Export.
- From the Export
Menu select Custom
Export.
- From the Custom
Export Menu select Basic
Custom Export.
- Click in the Filter
By field and select the
group of students you would like to export.
If you select All Students,
all students in the database are exported.
If you select System ID
you must enter a single student ID in the Value field. Only that
student are exported.
If you select Homeroom,
you must enter a single homeroom name or number in the field. Only
students in the selected homeroom are exported.
If you select Year of Graduation,
you must enter a single year of graduation in the Value field. Only
students in the selected YOG are exported.
If you select Gender,
you must enter either M or F in the Value field. Only students of
the selected Gender are exported.
If you select Active Student,
all active students are exported.
If you select Inactive Student,
all inactive students are exported.
If you select Category,
you must choose the appropriate category and one sub-category. All
students assigned to that sub-category are exported. (i.e. Category
Town, Sub-category Concord, only students labeled Concord are exported.)
- The Available
Fields section of the
window displays a list of data items that can be exported. Click on
the item you wish to export and then click on the right arrow in the
middle of the screen.
- As you select fields and click on
the arrow, the selected fields are displayed in the right hand column
of the screen. These are the items that will be exported.
NOTE: It is recommended that you
export all fields by clicking the double-arrow to the right.
- To remove an item from the
selected list, click on it and then click on the left arrow.
- When the appropriate fields have
been selected, click OK.
- The program displays the Enter
File Name window. The
default file name is StudentGuardian.txt.
You can leave the default or enter your own name.
- The text file is located in the
..\web2school\desktop directory on your computer.
Note: You can enter full path
information in the Enter File Name window and redirect the file to a
location other than the default (i.e. D:\Reports\StudentGuardian.txt).
