This option on the Student Schedule Tab and on the Add/Drop window allows you to see scheduling conflicts for an individual student after you have assigned students to classes. Conflicts are created when you enter a list of course requests for one or more students and then ask the program to schedule the student into classes. Conflicts arise when requested courses cannot be included in the student schedule. Reasons why a student cannot be scheduled include the following:
Course and or section does not exist
Priority given to other courses at the same meeting time
Maximum enrollment overflow (no more seats)
Inappropriate grade level (each section of each course has a high and a low grade level)
Student has no course requests
Wrong link number
No meeting time for a requested course
As you resolve conflicts, you may want to go to this window and delete anything that has been resolved. Deleting conflicts as they are taken care of, removes them from the Student Conflict Report. Follow the directions below the graphic to access this window.
