Day types and values for Full Day, Half Day, and Not In Session are delivered with the software and cannot be modified. Additional custom day types and values may be configured for display in the web2school calendar. For example, to indicate that a day is a Teacher Workshop Day, you can assign an icon (small picture) or create a two-letter label (such as TW), along with an associated day value, to assign to workshop days on your calendar. Any icons or labels that are created will display in a legend at the bottom of the Add/Modify Calendars window.
Icons can be used to represent a day type and value. For convenience, four icons are delivered with the software: home, running, snowflake, workshop. Icons reside in the Web2school\server\photos\calendar folder. If you wish to create your own icons, files must be in GIF format with size of 25 x 25 pixels. Please consult with your system administrator if you wish to create custom icons.
