Within each grade book there are different levels of use. You can enter Assignments and give the student grades for those assignments. Assignment grades are used to calculate term grades. Term grades are used to calculate Semester and Final Grades. Each user must determine how comfortable they are with the program and at what level they would like to use it.
Users who prefer not to enter Assignment Grades have the option to simply type in the Term, Semester and Final averages that will be sent to Report Cards. If your Term, Semester and Final grades are automatically calculated by the program, then only Exam grades and term comments need to be entered on this window.
