Edit Averages And Exams - By Student

This window allows you to enter Term, Semester and Final grades and exam grades for each student in your class. In addition, you can enter up to two comments from your comment list and one free form comment. This data is then exported to the main system allowing school administrators to compile Report Cards for each student in the school.

There are two Edit Averages and Exams windows. Edit Averages and Exams by Student displays all report card information for one student at a time. Edit Averages and Exams by Course displays a single term grade for all students in the class in a spread sheet format.

If you are using Daily Grades and allowing the program to continuously calculate a student's term, semester and final averages, you only need to enter exam grades and comments. Exam grades are optional and are only required if it is your school policy. If you are not using the automatic calculation features, you must type in grades for each student. If you enter a numerical average, the program determines the equivalent letter value using the Grade Ranges information. If you enter a letter, the program determines the mid-range number for that letter using the Grade Ranges information.

If you type over a calculated grade, the Auto Calculate check mark is automatically removed and that grade is no longer calculated. Typing over a grade is an override. To return to the calculated grade, click in the field containing the grade, and then click the Auto Calc Button.
