Exclude From Rank

This option allows you to exclude a student from rank in class standings. In many cases you may have students who should not be ranked. They may be foreign exchange students, recent transfers to your school or a part time student. When calculating GPA, students whose files are marked to be excluded from rank still receive a GPA but their rank is set to 0.

To Exclude a Student from Rank:

  1. Click on the AdministrationMenu and select Students to display the Student Search Window.
  2. Search for the appropriate student and click the Modify button at the top of the window to display the Student Information Window.
  3. Click on the Transcript Tab to select it.
  4. At the bottom right side of the window click on the Exclude From Rank check box to mark it with a check mark.
  5. Click OK on the Student window.

Note: You must run a new GPA calculation in order to update rank in class based on your new settings.
