Discipline System

The Discipline System allows you to create a Disciplinary History for each student. Infractions, Actions Taken, Locations, etc are all user defined. When a new year is created, all students are brought forward with a blank disciplinary history, however, you can return to the previous year to retrieve older information.

When entering a disciplinary incident you have many options. You can enter multiple infractions for a student. Multiple students can be associated with the same incident. Both a teacher action and an administrator action can be assigned. If needed, victims can be tracked.

For any given infraction you have the option to assign a Suspension or a Detention. Suspensions and detentions can be tracked as days or hours. The person in charge of Suspensions/Detentions can later bring up a list of students by date who have been given a suspension or detention. On that list you can indicate for each day or set of hours, whether or not the student has served the detention or suspension.

For schools that use demerits, the program allows you to assign demerits for each infraction. The Update Demerits window displays all assigned demerits for the selected date range. If your school feels that a student has fulfilled the requirements for having his/her demerits removed, you can remove them on this window.
