Student health records are entered and accessed from the Health Desk or the Student Information window under the Health Tab. In addition, under Under Administration -> Health, you can access Logs and Medical Alerts.
The Health Desk under the Administration Menu provides nurses with a single access point to setup, administration, logs of daily care items administered, nurse office visits, and reporting on all student health information. Student Medical Alerts and Health Notes are indicated on this screen. Upon entering the Health Desk, click Get List to display all students or refine your Search for students to display. When you click on a student, the links on the left become available.

Displays the Student Information Window with Allergies, Medications, and Chronic Conditions. Certain items are only visible from this window, including Gym Excuses, and permission to call doctor, provide treatment, call ambulance. |

Allows you to view and modify the selected student's Allergies, Medications, and Chronic Conditions. |

Allows you to add, modify, or delete the selected student's Immunization records. Instance View displays multiple instances of an immunization on a single line. |

Allows you to add, modify, or delete the selected student's Vision, Hearing, Growth and Development, Spinal, Dental and Other screenings. |

Allows you to add, modify, or delete the selected student's visits to the Nurse's Office. You may also generate a letter to send to guardian. Visits added here can also be viewed under the Nurse’s Log. |

Allows you to add, modify, or delete Daily Care or Medication for the selected student that must be administered by the school Nurse. Items added for each student can be also be viewed in the Log of Daily Care. |

Allows you to add, modify, or delete the list of physicians associated with the selected student. Once a physician has been entered into the database, he/she can be associated with additional students using the Add Existing Button. |

A text based window that allows you to enter critical medical information about this student. Items might include things like allergy to peanuts, potential seizures, etc. This area of the health system has a special set of permissions allowing the school to give permission to teachers and administrators for the Medical Alerts, but not give permissions for the remainder of the Health Information. Students with Medical Alerts will have a red box on the right of the Health Desk. You can use Copy/Paste to get information from another document in to this box. | |
This is an area of free form text where a nurse can keep notes about this student’s health. Students with Health Notes will have a blue box on the right of the Health Desk. Notes can be any length. |

Allows you to view a log of daily care or medication that must be administered to students in your school for any given day of the school year. |

Log Nurse Office Visits | Allows you to document student visits to the nurse’s office, including date, time, reason, place, action. You may also generate a letter to send to guardian. |
Health Setup | Allows you to perform all health setup functions. Same as Setup->Health Setup. |
Health Reports | Brings you to the Health Reports so you may run any of the 30+ health reports. |
